Eva Rieder is an author of both speculative and contemporary/mainstream fiction. Dabbling in short stories and full-length pieces alike, she is currently seeking representation for Kyresa, a romantic fantasy novel, and various short works.
Having nearly emerged from the womb with a book in-hand, Eva seemed destined to explore her own writing at a young age. She penned her first pieces in young adult fantasy, and after several writing courses in college, she soon discovered she enjoyed scribing contemporary/mainstream fiction.
After college, Eva forcibly removed her nose from books and took an excursion into the world of aerial acrobatics. It is still unclear if this was representative of adult A.D.H.D. or just an intense need to dip her fingers into everything, but after five years of intense physical activity and a few performances as an extraordinarily sassy aerialist, Eva opted to run away from the circus to return to her true passion.
By day, Eva Rieder masquerades as a high school Math and English teacher. Though she adores teaching and her students very much, when Eva returns home she reglues her fingertips to the keyboard to pursue her writerly destiny. She currently lives and writes in Northern California with her two keyboard-savvy cats.
